Duracoat Services
The Duracoat system uses advanced technology to ensure that your property is protected from all aspects of environmental damage. The success of this system is reliant upon the skills used during the application process. In order to ensure all Duracoat Masonry coatings are applied to strict standards, only approved and trained contractors are used.
5 Stages of the Duracoat application process:

Surface Preperation |
| All surfaces are cleaned or power washed using a high pressure with cleaners and fungisides in order to rid the surfaces of any grime, dirt, algae and fungi. The power wash also help rid the surface of any loose paint or debris and reveal any damage to the surface area. Remaining loose materials are removed using power tools, scrapers and wire brushes. | |

Masking Up |
| All areas that do not require attention are completely covered using durable paper, masking tape and dust sheets. This includes all windows, doors, drain pipes, guttering, facias, paths, patios, wood work, lawns, gardens, bushes shrubs, trees and anything else which does not require the exterior wall coating. | |

Restoration and Repair |
| All surfaces are repaired and restored, ensuring that the property retains its architectural features. Vios and cracks are scraped out and filled with high quality exterior filler. Ares of blown/damaged render are removed and rerendered to match the existing surface where possible. | |

Sealer Coat |
| When all surfaces are dry, repaired and restored, a sealer/primer coat is applied. This is applied by brush, roller or spray. On uneven surfaces such as pebbledash, a latex bagging coat is applied first to give a more uniform finish. Once dry, the sealer/primer coat will provide the foundation on which to apply the Duracoat surface coating. | |

Duracoat Coating |
| Duracoat coating is then applied by spray gun to achieve a consistant and professional finish. Your property is then water resistant in 20 minutes and protects your home for a guaranteed 15 years. | |
Wall Coatings
- Clear Coatings
Clearcoat is a colourless water–repellent formulated for porous exterior surfaces. Based on UV resistant resins, it is alkali resistant and can therfore be used in situations where other water repellents are not suitable i.e. newly pointed brickwork. It will not block pores in masonry so water vapour is able to escape, preventing the 'spalling' associated with less advanced products.

- Smooth Coatings
Our smooth spirit based exterior coating has been specially formulated from Pliolite resin which provides excellent adhesion to the substrate and is rain resistant within 20 minutes – allowing all year round application. The water based smooth is based on a flexible vinyl acetate copolymer which cures to form a tightly adherent, decorative weatherproof membrane. It has excellent durability, good flexibility and a high alkali resistance. Being 20 times thicker than standard masonry paints, it's tougher and more durable, so that years later it will still be looking as good as new.
- Textured Coatings
While the sprit based and water based coatings are hardwearing and waterproof, they are also breathable – which allows high levels of entrapped water to escape without blistering of delaminating. They also contain a special Anti–microbial system, which prevents the growth of mould. Not only does this make it maintenance free, but it also keeps its appearance bright and clean for years.

Together with our popular range of standard colours, we have a bespoke Match and Mix service for a truly individual appearance. Simply just supply us with a swatch or terms of reference, and we will do our best to match it. All special colours are approximate to the colour specified.
Roof Coatings
Duracoat also offer a roof coating system which is second–to–none in treating and preventing algae, moss and dirt therefore protecting against damage to slates/ tiles and damp/leaking roofs. Both coloured and clear roof treatments are available.
